In one scene you shave off your hair.  Can you tell us about that?
"There’s no getting around the fact that it was me shaving my head for real as there were three cameras on me. You wouldn’t normally shave hair from that length but they wanted the proper tramline through the hair. I asked, ‘What if the razor jams’ and they said, ‘Just keep going – we’ve got one take for this’. My legs were shaking when I did it and I didn’t sleep that night. My head was on the pillow with a new feeling of no hair. But that’s the commitment to the truth of the story. It felt right and I was very pleased we’d done it.
The act of shaving off his hair shows you how far he went. For me, it became a metaphor for Malcolm Webster stripping off all good to unveil the full monster.”

Heads up for everyone.

"The Widower" on ITV is now announced to be on St Patricks Day
(17th March)

This is a factual drama based on the murders by Malcolm Webster, convicted of the murder of his first wife in Scotland in 1994 and the attempted murder of his second wife. Both cases involved staged car crashes, and were carried out for the life insurance money..

I am not sure I am looking forward to this show, as it is not fiction, but, I am sure they will portray the damn harrowing story in decent taste.

Well done for a very well acted performance in the 7.39. Most enjoyable. You worked well together. I loved the cream dress with flowers on the sleeves that you wore. Would you part with the details? I think something like that would be wonderful for a wedding.

Many Thanks and looking forward to your next performance.
